Does your shopping cart ask you to set permissions on your PayPal account and provide you their PayPal shopping cart API username? If so, the shopping cart username will look like this: username_api1.shoppingcart.com. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal Business account.
2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click the Profile tab. If you haven't already done so, you need to verify your account before requesting API credentials.
4. Click Request API credentials under Account information.
5. Click Set up PayPal API credentials and permissions under Option 1.
6. Click Grant API Permissions.
7. Enter the API username provided by your shopping cart.
8. Select all 4 boxes to activate the required APIs.
9. Click Submit.
